Each set is precision laser-cut from durable transparent Vivak (PET-G) material and placed underneath the original plastic inserts to protect them without altering their appearance. Prevents scratching, yellowing, and fading caused by ball contact and UV exposure. Easy to install and can be removed at any time. This product has been specifically designed and precision-cut for the following pinball machines. Each piece is manufactured to fit perfectly without any modifications. Compatible with: Medieval Madness (Williams, 1997), Medieval Madness (Remake) (Chicago Gaming Company, 2016).
Carefully remove each plastic insert from your machine. Clean both the insert and the protector with a soft cloth. Place the protector on the front face of each plastic and reinstall the plastics in your machine. The protectors can be removed at any time. Handle by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the viewing surface.
Short visual reference for installing a Playfield Protector on Bally / Williams Medieval Madness. Lay the protector with the upper protective foil still in place, reinstall the parts, then peel the foil and re-level the target banks.
A Playfield Protector is maintained like the playfield itself. Use Mill Wax or Novus 2 with a soft cloth — microfibre can cause microscratches. New machines occasionally produce evaporations under the protector; blow them out with a compressor or a cool hair dryer.
