Step 1 — Remove the parts
Remove the following parts in this order:
- Left flipper
- Right flipper
- Upper right flipper
- Outlane plastics (2x)
- Slingshots (2x) — disconnect the flasher cables under the playfield first
- Bumper caps (3x)
- Plastic on the left side
- Plastic behind the target bank

Step 2 — Install the protector
Peel off the protective film from the back side. Lay the protector on the playfield. Leave the top-side film on for now — it keeps the surface free of fingerprints while you reinstall the parts.
Reinstall everything in reverse order.

Step 3 — Adjust the turntable
Loosen the marked screw at the turntable and push the assembly up slightly until the turntable sits flush with the new playfield surface.

Step 4 — Adjust the drop target banks
Each drop target bank has two height-adjustment screws. Turn them evenly until the targets sit flush with the protector. Check every target in service test mode.

Tools
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Nut driver / socket set
- Microfibre cleaning cloth
FAQ
- Does the same protector fit Diamond, Gold and Platinum editions?
- Yes. All three Beatles editions share the same playfield, so a single protector model fits all of them.
- Why do I have to adjust the turntable?
- The turntable sits at playfield level. Once the protector raises the surface, the turntable must be lifted accordingly so the ball does not catch the edge. Loosen the marked screw and slide it up.
