Protector install — quick visual
Lay the protector with the top-side foil still in place so reinstalled parts do not leave marks. Peel it off only once everything is back together.
Adjust the target bank
If the bank sits too low after install, the drop targets stand below the protector surface and the ball will catch them. Loosen the marked screws and raise the bank until the targets sit flush with the protector. Test each target via service test mode before reassembling.

FAQ
- How do I know if the bank is too low?
- If the drop targets sit visibly below the protector surface — or the ball catches the leading edge — the bank needs to come up. The "too low" reference photo in this guide shows the symptom clearly.
- Does this also work on The Machine: Bride of Pin·bot?
- The mechanism is similar but not identical — use this as a starting point, but verify with the machine's service manual.
